Care & Share is happy to offer the following services for Unicoi County residents:

• Shelf-stable food, available once per calendar month per household

• Clothing and household items, available without restriction

• Financial assistance paid directly to qualifying utility bills, limit of $75 paid per calendar year per household

(Note that payment must be made with express permission of account owner (person whose name is on the bill), and we must verify with photo ID before payment)

• Spiritual Counseling available with local ministers, check our COMMUNITY RESOURCE CALENDAR for scheduling. If you have an urgent spiritual need, please submit a prayer request on THIS PAGE and indicate that you would like a minister to contact you.

• Referral services to other organizations. Our team will help assess your needs and connect you with other area resources and organizations to help you. Please contact us HERE for any urgent needs or check our COMMUNITY RESOURCE CALENDAR for scheduled visits from our partner organizations.

• Care & Share does not require income verification or any background checks to receive our services, and proof of residency is only required for financial assistance.

Please feel free to contact us outside of our normal operating hours, as we are able to make special arrangements to meet you. Many of our services are available outside of our normal operating hours without physically meeting you, so please contact us at any time.
